ETown Vocal Music Society Choirs
The ETown Vocal Music Society is a non-profit society that strives to bring an appreciation for a cappella pop music to the wider community through the two non-auditioned choirs that it supports.
The ETown Minors are a youth choir for grades 7-12 that is supported by an incredible director and professional vocal coaches to help the singers learn in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The singers will learn to sing in a group as well as have a chance to work on solo and small group repertoire with the support of our staff.
ETown Augmented is an inclusive adult choir that also focuses on a cappella pop arrangements, and fosters the joy of singing in all its members. This adult choir is extremely inclusive and welcomes people of all singing abilities, genders, backgrounds, and experiences, and supports everyone to sing in any voice part they want to try - even if it’s a “non-traditional” one for them! Etown is all about learning and growing our musical skills and community together.
Our Society typically puts on two concerts in a year - one around January/February and one around May/June. These performances enable us to share our love of a cappella with the broader community. The society also puts on other special events such as our popular ETown Minors Cabaret.
