About Us

With the ETown Minors youth ensemble in its 15th season, and ETown Augmented entering its 11th season in 2025-2026, ETVMS is thrilled to continue encouraging growth in our community! This year we're excited to announce an addition of a third ensemble, ETown Extended, to our society.

There are two overarching goals that we have for the ensembles of the ETown Vocal Music Society. The first is that our groups learn and perform music entirely a cappella (without instrumental accompaniment), and the second is that the repertoire we choose is selected from popular music. Though we also focus on inclusion, music literacy and vocal health and technique in all of our ensembles, a cappella arrangements of pop music is our driving artistic principle.
